Episode #7: When September Ends

2014-09-29_081012It’s that time of year again, the onslaught of pilots and premieres flooding the TV landscape. Some are good, some are less, some are just begging to be Siskeled. Of course a pilot doesn’t always define the show, but it WILL impact the viewer’s willingness to sit their big Bat butt back down every week, same Bat time, same Bat channel. So will Gotham‘s beacon keep shining in our night sky? Will Forever prove its title wrong? Will Revenge inspire its fans to want some? And what about the Braverman‘s tendency to look for greener pastures?

Thanks to The Bearded Ones for sponsoring this episode. There, duty done. Now give us back our Hamster!

Special Episode #001 – Messy Commentary: Acapulco H.E.A.T.

acapulco_logoOur regular programming will resume next week, because THIS week, it’s time to sweat!

We made good on our resolution to watch the first episode of the 90’s “Classic” Acapulco H.E.A.T and recorded our session of snarking, snorting and laughing ourselves to tears. And because the official DVD release omitted to include an all too important commentary track, we decided to bestow fellow “fans” out there with our Messy Commentary.

All you need is the show’s first episode and your sense of humor. Then launch our track and wait for the countdown to start watching the wholesome cheese of the swimsuitiest spies on the planet.

Episode #6: Arsenic and Old H.E.A.T.

Can our tarsenicastes change THAT much as we grow? Does everything tend to turn bad when the years go by? As we prepare for our ritual Midnight Classic Screening, we soften up the ravages of time by pitting Cary Grant and his most peculiar turn from the beloved  Arsenic & Old Lace against the no-holds-barred camp of Fabio and his Acapulco H.E.A.T. Only one thing can seperate those two bitter rivals: A Rooster named Prince…

Episode #5 – Peanut Butter & Gyp-C

Things get messy in the Kitchen this week as Gyp-C professes her undying love of Peanut Butter… and Sean Bean! Check it out than wash it down with a slice of West Wing memories and a side of BBC America’s Intruders. All that and Frog… I mean more, so press play without delay!

Episode #4: Oh No, There Goes Tokyo!

6a01053565ae9f970b01348572dee1970c-800wiWith a purposeful grimace and a terrible sound, h
e pulls the spitting high tension wires down. Yet all of that makes Gyp-C’s face frown, because she really didn’t like Godzilla. Check out why then stick around as we drool for the coming season of Bitten, snack on Lost Girl, rip into Beauty & the Beast, and go primal on actors with bad accents. Yes, coming from a French Canadian white boy, that IS ironic…
